Albert Guggenbiller, 89, of Medina, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2007.
He was born December 6, 1917, in St. Wendelin.
Mr. Guggenviller was a Army WW II veteran. He retired as a shipping clerk from Tru-Fit Screw Products after 43 years.
He was a member of St. Francis, AARP No. 2095 of Medina and Medina Senior Citizens.
He enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and was an avid Indians fan.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth (nee Kriebel); daughter, Mary Ann (Bob) Hitzelberger of Medina; grandaughters, Amy (Aleks) Ripple of Reynoldsburg, and Katie Hitzelberger of Beaver Creek; great-grandaughter, Sabrina Ripple; sisters, Loretta (Dale) Sprague of Elyria, and Matilda Meinerding of St. Henry; brother, Charles Guggenbiller of North Ridgeville; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Clara; brothers, Joseph, Leo and Norman; and his parents, John and Mary Guggenbiller.
Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 9 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
