VERMILION — Cory Rider’s unassisted goal with seven minutes left to play in the first half lifted Vermilion to a 1-0 victory over Midview in West Shore Conference action on Wednesday.
Sailors (3-1, 1-1 WSC) goalie Kurt Innes made 11 saves, while the Middies (2-2, 1-1 WSC) had a 12-6 shots-on-goal advantage.
