Monday, Sept. 10
9:17 a.m. – 290 block Avondale Ave., a resident reported seeing the driver of a black Volvo get out of the vehicle and pour something into the woods. Police checked it out and found that the driver was returning a large praying mantis.
4:49 p.m. – Sweetbriar Golf Course, a male told police that two golf clubs worth $670 were stolen from his golf bag.
Wednesday, Sept. 12
9:31 p.m. – 300 block Inwood Blvd., a male told police that his 41-year-old son was intoxicated and giving him a hard time.
