Amherst police

Thursday, Oct. 11
5:12 p.m. – Fifth Third Bank, a woman threatened bank employees after accusing the bank of withholding her child support, which she claimed was in the millions.
Thursday, Oct. 18
4:34 p.m. – Powers Elementary School, a 17-year-old boy charged with inducing a panic, discharging firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco products after reportedly shooting at the school’s windows with a BB gun.
Friday, Oct. 19
11:24 p.m. – Motel 6, Desmond Hawthorne, 19, 1500 block Fillmore Ave., Lorain, charged withpossession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Sunday, Oct. 21
12:05 a.m. – Motel 6, Terrence Casey, 19, 2000 block W. 21st St., Lorain, charged with underage consumption, driving under suspension and expired license plates.
2:32 a.m. – Spruce Tree Lane, Jonathan A. White, 22, 19600 block Pitts Road, Wellington, charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving over marked lanes.

Vermilion police

Tuesday, Oct. 16
12:15 p.m. – Overlook Boulevard, a man told police he fought off four assailants with a pocket knife after they surrounded his vehicle and prevented him from moving. He was later treated at the hospital for abrasions and a small cut.
Wednesday, Oct. 17
1:02 a.m. – 1300 Hollyview Drive, Coolin Hohla, 20, Enoch Dotson II, 18, Christopher G. Partin , 19 and Scott M. Gibson, 20, all charged with underage consumption following a fight at a residence.
Friday, Oct. 19
9:33 a.m. – 1000 block Oakwood Drive, more than $1,000 worth of tools stolen from a resident’s garage.
9:56 p.m. – 4600 Liberty Ave., Clarence A. Cornwell, 21, of Lorain, charged with driving under suspension, headlight violation and trafficking in drugs. Police found more than 100 grams of marijuana in his possession following a traffic stop.
Sunday, Oct. 21
3:08 a.m.—600 block Highbridge Road, Adam Dull, 27, of Vermilion, charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Monday, Oct. 22
12:48 a.m. – Liberty Avenue Speedway gas station, Joshua Geisel, charged with  criminal damaging and disorderly conduct after punching a “Speedy Rewards” machine.
2:39 p.m. – Vermilion police station, an officer met with a subject who reported seeing a man across from South Street School standing in his doorway in his underwear.
