ELYRIA — A woman was arrested early Tuesday after allegedly threatening to cut off her boyfriend’s penis with a knife, according to an Elyria police report.
Amber E. Nettles, 18, of Elyria, was charged with menacing. Emanuel D. Ingram, 21, of Elyria, was charged with drug abuse, illegal conveyance and assault.
Police were called about 2:30 a.m. to Econo Lodge on Griswold Road, where Nettles and Ingram were fighting. Nettles told investigators she was upset about finding dirty text messages with another woman on her boyfriend’s phone.
According to the report, Nettles took Ingram’s phone while he was sleeping, and when he woke up, he punched her in the eye.
Ingram told police Nettles flashed a knife at him and told him she’d cut off his penis. The report said officers found a knife in Nettles’ purse.
While Ingram was being booked, police found a bag containing 14.7 grams of cocaine poking out of his rear end, the report said.
