Motorsports: Mid-season titles on line at Sandusky

 Mid-Season Championships are on the line tonight at Sandusky Speedway for all divisions.
The green flag drops at 6:30 p.m. Pit gates open at 1 with hot laps and grandstand admission at 2. Qualifying is set for 4:30. Admission is $10, $5 for ages 6-12 and free to those ages 5 and younger and to those with a Military ID. Call (419) 625-4084.

LCS Trailer race
A Trailer Race of Destruction, worth $750, highlights tonight’s Lorain County Speedway program. E-Mods, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks and Chargers are also in action. Gates will open at 2 p.m. with practice at 3. Qualifying is at 5 and racing at 7. Admission is $10, $5 for ages 6-12, free to those 5 and younger. Call (440) 986-7223.
Next week will be the E-Mod 50-lap, $1,000-to-win feature, with autograph and camera night.
Super Dave
In Supermodified news, Dave Shulick Jr. will drive the Clyde Booth No. 61 for the rest of the ISMA season. Shullick Jr. replaced Michael Barnes. He will maintain the familiar ACME Racing No. 49 for MSA shows. The new team will make its debut Tuesday at the Stafford, Conn., Xtreme Show. 
Summit championships
Summit Motorsports Park hosts the Drag News Mid-Season Championships tonight. The Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Super Bike, Stock and Junior Dragsters will be in action. Gates open at 9 a.m. with time trials at 9:30. Racing starts at 10:45. Admission is $15 and $5 for ages 6-14. Call (419) 668-5555.
Coming up will be the 18th annual Fun Ford Weekend on June 11-13.
Some of the events in this all Ford program include a 64 class judged car show, manufacturer’s midway, swap meet and car corral. Friday’s admission is $15, $20 for Saturday or Sunday, $5 daily for those ages 6-12. Gates open at 8 a.m. each day.
