Levi and Floy Smith

Congratulations to Levi and Floy Smith of Elyria, who celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary June 20, 2008.

The couple were married June 20, 1948 in Glenville, West Virginia by Rev. Cornelius DeBloc.

Levi retired from Bendix in 1983 after 33 years of service. He is a member and Deacon Emeritus of Calvary Baptist Church in Elyria. He is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the China-Burma-India Theater. Levi enjoys golfing and gardening.

Floy retired from EMH in 1991, having served 22 years as an LPN. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Elyria. She enjoys reading and traveling.

Levi and Floy have five boys, Kenton Smith of Durham, North Carolina, Bradford Smith of Clinton, Washington, Randall Smith of Elyria, Ted Smith of LaGrange, Daniel Smith of Elyria; and three grandchildren. Their boys and families will join them to celebrate their special occasion.
