Regina C. Warren

Regina C. Warren (nee Weber), 99, of North Ridgeville, died Sunday morning, May 27, 2007 at the Northridge Health Center, North Ridgeville. She was born in Lorain, on January 25, 1908. She was a lifelong resident of Lorain County, having moved from Lorain to Elyria Township in 1954 and then to North Ridgeville in 2000.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Parish in Lorain, and a former member of the Women’s Guild and the National Council of Catholic Women.
She was employed as a secretary and office manager of the former American Felsol Company of Lorain, until her retirement in 1970. She was a charter member of the Altrusa Club of Lorain County, where she was active for 25 years. During her presidency, the Junior Achievement Program was introduced into Lorain. She served as the first secretary and board member of Junior Achievement for the first 13 years of operation in Lorain. She became a charter member of the Lakeland Women’s Club in 1969, and served as secretary for 8 years. She also served as secretary and board member of the American Cancer Society for several years. She was a member of A.A.R.P. Chapter #300 and the Paduan Travelers. She enjoyed playing bridge and traveling.
She is survived by several generations of nieces and nephews. Regina was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell P. Kerr, in 1956; her second husband, Clifford T. Warren, in 1978; her parents, Joseph Weber in 1951, and Christina (nee Schueller) Weber, in 1933; brothers, William, Bernard, Henry, Clarence, and Joseph Weber; sisters, Mary Agnes Rumpler, Christina M. Weaver, and Genevieve Meyers.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 29, 2007, from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Reidy Scanlan Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway Ave, Lorain where closing prayers will be said Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 9:30 A.M., followed by a 10 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Lake Church, 310 Eighth Street, Lorain. Rev. Daniel O. Divis, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 555 North Ridge Road, Lorain. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 309 Seventh Street, Lorain, OH 44052.
