The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present.  Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Lutellis Kilgore

Lutellis Kilgore
Lutellis "Shag" Kilgore, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Summerfield Manor Nursing Home. He was formerly of Elyria. Mr. Kilgore was a retired crane operator for Stanadyne (Moen) Inc. for 37 years, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and had studied with the Jehovah’s Witness.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include his four daughters, Linda Durden (Curtis), Suzie Kilgore, Robin Renee Kilgore, and Tina M. Kilgore; six sons, Marvin Kilgore, Tellis Kilgore Jr. (Alice), Henry Walker, Ronnie L. Kilgore, Trent A. Kilgore, and Lawrence M. Kilgore (Marissa); two sisters, Annie Bell Godbolt, and Velma Bowens; a brother, Jeff Richard; 30 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY at 11 A.M. Saturday, where funeral services will be at Noon Saturday. Cremation will follow.
