The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Bonita J. "Bonnie" Husk (nee Walker), 66, of Grafton, died Saturday at the Cleveland Clinic following a illness. She was born June 12, 1940 in Elyria and was a lifelong Grafton resident.
Mrs. Husk was a 1959 Midview High School graduate, and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. She was a former Boy Scout den mother, and served 15 years as a 4-H advisor for the Carlisle True 4-H"rs.
She operated a booth at Jamie"s Flea Market in South Amherst and enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and traveling.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Henry Husk Sr.; sons, Henry Husk Jr. (Linda) of Elyria, and Steve (Marge) Husk of Elyria; two grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Walker of TX, Nelson Walker of FL, and Bruce Walker of Avon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Grace Walker.
Friends may call Wednesday 4 to 8 P.M. at the Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, Chestnut Ridge Rd. at State Rt. 57, Elyria, where Visitation will also be, on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of closing prayers at 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1033 Elm St., Grafton. The Rev. John P. Seabold, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. Memorial contributions can be made to the Altar and Rosary Society of the Church or to the Lorain County 4-H Endowment Fund, 42110 Russia Rd., Elyria, OH 44035.
