Airman 1st Class Eric Barnes, 20, of Lorain, was killed by a roadside bomb while riding as a passenger in a lead convoy vehicle Sunday in Iraq.
Barnes graduated from Admiral King High School in 2004, and was an Eagle Scout. He enlisted in the Air Force in 2005, and had already served one tour of duty in Iraq before volunteering for his second.
