Lorain Mayor Craig Foltin leaving office
Lorain Mayor Craig Foltin will leave his job in August to take the top finance post at
City Republicans will choose a replacement to serve out the remaining months of Foltin’s term, which expires at the end of the year.
Foltin, who announced earlier this year that he would not run for a third term, ran unsuccessfully for Congress last November.
Former Sheffield Mayor John Romoser is running as a Republican against Democratic Councilman Tony Krasienko for the city’s top job in the November’s election.
