Christopher M. Stawicki, 42, of Elyria, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 16, 2007. Christopher was born September 21, 1966 in Elyria where he has resided all his life. He was employed by Bob Morris Pontiac as an auto technician for the past 20 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Church, and enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, dirt bikes and spending time with his children. He is survived by his wife, DeeAnn (nee Clift); daughter, Rachel R. and son, Matthew M., both of Elyria; sister, Lisa A. Davis of Elyria; brothers, Earl E. (wife, Kellie) of CA; James M. of Elyria, and Eric A. (wife, Lisa) of Elyria; parents, Edward and Barbara Stawicki of Elyria; mother and father-in-law, Richard and Kathy Clift of Elyria; also, brother-in-law of Denise Clift-Devine (husband, Martin); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday 4 to 7 P.M. at the Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home on Chestnut Ridge Rd. at State Rt. 57, Elyria, where closing prayers will be held on Thursday at 9:30 A.M., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. at St. Agnes Church, 611 Lake Ave., Elyria. Rev. Charles Ryba will be the celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
