The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Anna G. Born, 90, of Henrietta Twp., died Wednesday morning at Allen Medical Center in Oberlin. She was born on May 26, 1917, in Lorain and has lived in Henrietta Twp. most of her life.
She graduated from Henrietta High School in 1934. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Henrietta United Methodist Church.
Her home was the focal point for all the family activities, still hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas for over 40 family members, even last year.
She is survived by her children, Marjorie (Robert) Schumann of St. John, IN, James Born of Henrietta, William (Donna) Born of Henrietta, Robert (Mary) Born of Homosassa, FL, Gerald (Barb) Born of Henrietta, Raymond (Rene`) Born of Henrietta, Melanie (Rick) McLoda of Henrietta; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise (William) Wilhelm of Amherst; a brother, Conrad "Bud" (Margaret) Adler of WI; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Mary (Snyder) Adler; husband, Arthur Born; son, Arthur Born; daughter, Susan Beecheler; granddaughter, Rebecca; and a sister, Mary Born.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where services will be held on Friday at 10 A.M. Pastor Ray Ake of the Henrietta United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Henrietta United Methodist Church.
