The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Judith A. Workman, 78, of Norwalk, died Thursday morning June 28, 2007, in Fisher Titus Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born March 24, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Wilbur E. Glass and Margaret M. McMorrow. She came to this area from Elyria in 1978. She attended Mt. Carmel Nursing School and worked at Mt. Carmel Hospital. She was a member of the Norwalk Garden Club. She loved animals and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Workman of Columbus; son, Brian Eugene Workman of Beavercreek; and sister Patricia Blair, of Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen S. Workman May 9, 2007; and brother Thomas J. Glass.
Friends may call on Monday, July 2, 2007, from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M. at the Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St. Norwalk. Rev. Fred Wiechers, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church will officiate.
