Emma Willis, (nee Ewing), 63, of Lorain died Thursday, June 28th , 2007 at Lorain Community Health Partner following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Willis was born on August 28th, 1943 in Tallullah, LA and had lived in the Lorain area for most of her life. She attended Clearview High School. She was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Lorain. She loved spending time with her family and caring for the young ones. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, cooking, listening to music, talking with her neighbors and playing video games.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Denise Steward of Lorain; two grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Goines of Detroit, MI and Lorena Brown of Lorain; three brothers, Willie, Glen and John Ewing all of Lorain; and a host of other
loving relatives and friends.
Mrs. Ewing was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Willis; her parents, William and Lumetra Ewing; one brother, James Fultz; one sister, Sara Dower.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007 from 11 A.M. until the time of funeral service at 12 P.M. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Avenue, Lorain, with the Rev. Peter Towers officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain. Arrangements by Brown-Robinson Funeral Home.
