Joseph Borgia IV, 54 , went home to be with the Lord, July 2, 2007, surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Altoona, PA, he had lived in Amherst since 2001. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He had been employed at Jack Matia Chevrolet for three years where he was named Used Car Salesman of the Year for 2006. He was employed at Nick Abraham Auto Mall for 14 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Nancy (nee Heginbotham); daughters, Christina Nicole Borgia, Lakewood, Maria Elena Ramirez, Columbus; sons, Joseph Borgia VI, Joseph David Ramirez, and Anthony Colbourne Ramirez, Amherst; brothers, Jim Borgia of Findlay, Joseph Borgia V of Naples, FL, Rossi of Fort Meyers, FL, John of Naples, FL, Rick Stoneberg of Maryland; sisters, Gina Borgia of Toledo, Vickie Kling of Duncansville, PA, Charlene Linville of Trenton, MO; uncle, John Borgia of Norwalk, grandson, Joseph Borgia VII of Norwalk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Borgia III and mother, Leora.
He cherished his friends and family and his dog, Roxy. He was known as an Encourager, Helper, and a Hero by all of us. His love and humor will stay with all of us forever.
He donated his body to the Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University, for cancer research.
The family will receive friends at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 300 Third Street, Elyria, from 12 noon to 2 P.M. on Friday, July 6, 2007. Enter through the 3rd street lower level doors. Services will immediately follow.
