The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Florence R. Daly, 75, of Elyria, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the home of her son, Thomas following a two year illness with cancer. Mrs. Daly was born March 24, 1932 in Chicago, IL and made her in the Elyria area for most of her life. She was a waitress for many years and liked working cross word puzzles and spending time with her family and grand children.
She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Cassanova of Corpus Christi, TX, Katherine Pribich, of NY, and Sherry Curtis, of San Antonio, TX; three sons, Thomas of Elyria, Joseph of Mansfield, and Michael of Oberlin; seven grandchildren, Anna Daly, Brook Daly, Brett Daly, Aaron Geiser, Michelle Geiser, Kenny Wayne Curtis and Whitney Curtis.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kit Higgin and Jen Walsh.
Friends will be received in the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, Saturday, July 7 from 4 to 7 P.M., Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Saturday evening at 7 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Grafton. Rev. Fr. Frank Kosem, Pastor of St. Jude Church Elyria will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 502 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
