The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present.  Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Anne L. Litteau

Anne L. Litteau, 90, of Indiana, died Monday, July 2, 2007 at St. Andrew’s Village. A daughter of Samuel Lowry and Martha Gilpatrick Minser. She was born, June 21, 1917 in Indiana. Mrs. Litteau was a graduate of IUP with a degree in Elementary Education. She went on to earn a degree in Learning Disabilities from Kent University with graduate work at Baldwin Wallace. Mrs. Litteau taught three years at Indiana Area School District before becoming a teacher at the Elyria School District, where she retired in 1973. She was a member of ORTA (Ohio Retired Teacher Association) and Graystone Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one sister, Martha Kunkle, Lower Gwynedd; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters, Elizabeth Stephens, Mabel Minser, Olive Zener, Virginia Stright, Florence Beatty and infant Dorothy Minser.
Friends will be received from 10;30 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. in Indiana with Rev. Jeff Denlinger officiating. Internment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice, 850 Hospital Drive, Suite 3000, Indiana, PA 15701 or St. Andrew’s Village, 1155 Indian Springs Road, Indiana, PA 15701
