Christian J. Walton, 37, of Sheffield Lake, died Sunday, July 8, 2007. He was born July 23, 1969 in Newport, RI, and had lived most of his life in the Cleveland area. Christian was a 1987 graduate of Cleveland Central Catholic and graduated from the University of Toledo in 2003. Christian worked as a social services liaison for Cuyahoga County for several years. He attended the Archwood United Church of Christ in Cleveland. He was a beloved son, brother, and partner.
Survivors include his father, Harry C. Walton, Jr. of Wellington; sisters, Diane Russell of Philadelphia, PA and Patricia Walton-Long of Cuyahoga Falls; brothers, Michael D. Walton of Port Ritchey, FL, Harry C. Walton III of Brunswick, and Fred Walton of Cleveland; numerous nieces and nephews. Christian is also survived by his partner of four years, Michael W. Shaw of Sheffield Lake.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vanessa L. Walton, in 2005.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 P.M. on Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 A.M.
