The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Braeden Richard Dennis, of Lorain, born prematurely Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Lorain Community Hospital, passed away Monday, July 15, 2007 at Fairview Hospital, Cleveland, after a courageous fight to live.
Braeden is survived by his parents, Richard A. and Shanna R. (nee Newbrough) of Lorain; sisters, Caeden Olivencia (age 4) and Maegan Dennis (age 8 months) at home; maternal grandparents, Larry and Candace McDoniel of Vermilion and Richard Newbrough of Elyria; paternal grandparents, Richard Dennis of Lorain and Linda Dillon (James) of Lorain; maternal great-grandparents, Alfred and Mary Ellen Leighty of New London and Lawrence Newbrough of Lorain; paternal great-grandparents,Velma Dennis of Lorain and Dolly Marcum of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Evelyn Newbrough; paternal great-grandfathers, Richard Dennis and Noah Marcum; and paternal great-great-grandparents, Joseph and Helen Dennis.
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria, Saturday, July 21, 2007, 9:30 to 11:30 A.M., where Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Pastor Kenneth Gerhardt of Pittsfield Community Church will serve as officiant.
Interment at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
