The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Charles G. Walder, 87, of Aurora, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Mr. Walder was a retired Dentist from Lorain.
Beloved husband of Marcella (nee Slanina); dear father of Mary Alice (Dennis) Nordquest, Elizabeth Ann (Harry) Klekota, Helen (Chris) Franklin, Charles E. Walder, and the late Paul Walder; loving grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of five; brother of Edith, Ruth, Helen, and the late Edward, James, Martha, and Mary Alice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 20 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 342 S. Chillicothe Rd., Aurora, where family will visit with friends one hour prior to Mass.
