The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Lorene Rone, 80, of Elyria, died July 19, 2007 at EMH Regional Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1927 in Harlan County, KY, and has been a long time Elyria resident. She and her husban d had owned and operated Ted rone Dry Cleaners in Grafton for many years.
Lorene is survived by daughters, Gloria Rone of Lorain, Donna Fluker of ELyria; sons, Donald and Alvin of Elyria and Wesley of Texas. Also surviving are grandchildren, Ricco Daniels, Amaris Shores, Jason and Ethan Turner, Alex Barretto, Cordell, Mickesha, Adam, Tonya, Andrea, Brittney and Alesha Rone; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse (Nell) Sanders and Arnold (Dolores) Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore R. Rone in 1987.
Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
