Kirke E. Grose, 64, of Wellington, died July 20, 2007 at St. Vincent Charity Hospital, in Cleveland, after a long illness. Mr. Grose was born December 1, 1942 to the late Kenneth and Mabel (nee Clark) Grose. He had lived in Wellington most of his life and was a graduate of Wellington High School. Mr. Grose worked at Oberlin College for many years and also worked at DIY for 5 years in the plumbing department. He enjoyed farming. He collected steins and was a member of the North Coast Stein Club. Mr. Grose was a member of the LaGrange Engine Club and the Lorain County Lamb and Wool Producers.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lousie (nee Weber); three children, Kalyn (Edward) Wise and Kerric (Sandy) Grose all of Wellington, and Kayden Grose of Columbus; and two grandchildren, Bailey Wise and Kinsey Grose. He also is survived by his twin brother, Kermit Grose of WV; and a niece and nephew.
A private burial will take place at a later date. Family and friends are encouraged to gather at Kirke and Louise’s house on Sunday, July 29, starting at 1 P.M. for a time of fellowship and remembrance.
