Fall victim, 2, remains critical

ELYRIA —  A 2-year-old girl who fractured her skull after she fell from a second-floor window Saturday still was fighting for her life at a Cleveland hospital Sunday night.
Cora Mae Gentry was listed in critical condition at MetroHealth Medical Center late Sunday, where she was being treated for the head injury as well as broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
Cora’s grandmother, Michelle Harvey, said the girl was in an apartment at Second Street and West Avenue on Saturday afternoon with her father when she climbed onto a table near the window. Cora fell off the table and into the open window, breaking through a thin vinyl screen and falling about 15 feet to the ground.
