Joel T. Uebbing, 26, of Eaton Township, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Metro Hospital, Cleveland, following a train accident in Grafton. He was born in Cleveland, and lived in North Ridgeville a short period of time before moving to Eaton Township. He had attended Midview High School. He was employed by the Arrow Wiring Company, Columbia Station, as an electrician. Joel enjoyed fishing, hunting, darts and baseball.
He is survived by his daughter, Cassie M. Uebbing; parents, Thomas H. and Brenda A. (nee Thibodaux) Uebbing, of Eaton Township; sisters, Genesia and Cassie Uebbing, both of Eaton Township; paternal grandfather, Theodore Uebbing, of Avon Lake; several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pierre and Adele Thibodaux; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Uebbing (nee Duperow); and cousin, Jason Uebbing (2003).
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Sunday, August 5, 2007, at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 A.M. Memorial contributions are the donor’s choice.
