The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Donald J. Denbow, 60, of Sullivan, passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his family, following a lengthy illness. He was born November 29, 1946 in New London, to Robert and Joreta Huff Denbow.
He resided in the Sullivan area most of his life where he worked as a farmer and carpenter. He worked road patrol for the Ashland County Conservation Club and was a member of the Sullivan Congregational Church. He was a great husband and father and will be cherished and missed by family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Delores (nee Shoulter) whom he married on November 21, 1966; daughter, Tammy Bell of Ashland; sons, Bryan (Leslie) Denbow of Sullivan, Donald Jr. (Therese) Denbow of Nankin; four grandchildren, Andrea, Cody, Bailey and Donald; mother, Joreta ( Earl) Butler of Sullivan; grandmother, Louise Huff of Sullivan; one sister, Joyce ( Larry) Jordan of Sullivan; two brothers, Bob (Rhonda) Denbow of Virginia and Rick (Pat) Denbow of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 1 P.M. at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Rev. Don Farley will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery in Sullivan. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s name to the Parker & Son Funeral Home.
