The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Daniel L. (Danny) Thomas, 31, of Elyria, passed away Monday, August 13, 2007. He was born in Cleveland on June 28, 1976 to Larry and Deanna Thomas.
He had resided in Elyria most of his life and graduated from Elyria High School in 1994. He was a security guard in the industrial field. Danny loved sports, especially bowling and listening to music.
He is the beloved son of Larry, of Elyria; devoted brother of Darren, of Elyria. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deanna, in 1999.
The family will receive friends at Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, (St. Rt. 252 1 mile S. of St. Rt. 303), Valley City, Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 9 A.M. till the time of Service at 10 A.M. Danny’s cousin, Rev. Robin Thomas will officiate.
Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery, Cleveland.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
