Roberta M. (Kolk) Penn, 57, of Sullivan, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland.

She was born December 6, 1949 in Cleveland. She grew up in the Cleveland area and had lived in Sullivan for the past 30 years.

Mrs. Penn had worked at the Sullivan Post Office, the Sullivan Township, and most recently at the Ashland County Animal Shelter for the past nine years. Roberta enjoyed playing cards with her family, going to Bingo and Scrapbooking. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wellington.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Sidney Penn; sons, Tom Penn of Atwater, Bryan Penn of Huntington; grandchildren, Marissa, Dakota and Cody; father, Robert Kolk of LaGrange; sisters, Carolyn Wright of Sullivan, Georgianna Deuley of LaGrange; brother, Tony Kolk of Longview, Texas; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann (Boskovitch) Kolk.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 512 N. Main St., Wellington, with visitation from 1 p.m. until time of Service. Rev. James Reymann will officiate and burial will follow at the Sullivan Southview Cemetery.
