Jermaine Howard, 29, of Kentucky, died suddenly Saturday, August 18, 2007 at his home. He attended Admiral King High School in Lorain. He also attended Bailey’s Barber College in Kentucky. He attended Compassion Baptist Church while in Lorain.
He liked old cars, sports, and spending time with his fiancé, family and his friends, and traveling.
Survivors include, his mother, Katrina Williams-Herndon; step-father, Elton Herndon, Sr.; fiancé, Yolanda Johnson; father, Willie Howard; Grandmother, Flower May Howard; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Geneva Williams; grandfather, Charles Williams; great-grandparents, Ada Green and Sam Calamese; aunt, Jessie Johnson; cousin, Jerry M. Barlow; paternal grandfather, Author Lee Howard.
Friends may call Friday, August 24, 2007, from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 3001 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
Funeral Services to follow on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at 11 A.M. in the Compassion Baptist Church, 520 W. 22nd Street, Lorain, where the Rev. James Williams will officiate services.
