Bette L. Fell, 78, of Norwalk, died early Thursday morning, August 30, 2007, in the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. She was born July 5, 1929 in Bronson Township, to the late Clarence P. and Maude (Fisher) Geiger and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was also a former employee of Norwalk Truck Lines, Fanny Farmer Candy Company and was a retired school bus driver for the Norwalk Public Schools. She enjoyed playing cards and baking.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John W. and Janice E. Fell of Norwalk, Duane R. Fell of Cornelius, North Carolina, and William S. and Janice L. Fell of Norwalk; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie A. and Jeff Brown of Norwalk; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Alfred Thomas of Cleveland; and sister, Arlene “Sis” Ott of Monroeville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. “Bud” Fell in 1993; and brothers, Arthur “Art” Geiger and William Geiger.

Friends may call on Friday, August 31, 2007 from 4 to 7 P.M. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, where

Prayer Services will be at 6:30 P.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church, 38 West League Street, Norwalk. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
