10:08 a.m. – 800 block W. 17th St., someone threw concrete chunks at parked car, causing $2,000 damage.
12 p.m. – 1500 block W. 39th St., woman received fake check that said she won $76,000.
12 p.m. – 1800 block E. 31st St., landlord and a few tenants complained that another tenant was harassing them.
1:09 p.m. – 3200 block Grant St., woman received fake check for item she was going to sell on Internet.
2:29 p.m. – 2200 block E. 42nd St., stolen car recovered.
3:37 p.m. – 4700 block Chelsea Ave., man sent woman more than 80 unwanted text messages.
4 p.m. – 2000 block Henderson Drive, car windshield was damaged by rock that fell from truck.
4:45 p.m. – 3100 block Victory Ave., man taken to hospital for mental evaluation after hearing voices and threatening to cut people with a circular saw.
5:23 p.m. – 400 block W. 13th St., man threw plate of food at woman and punched her.
5:30 p.m. – 200 block W. Eighth St., business owner said woman was throwing trash in his garbage bin.
5:39 p.m. – 2900 block Crehore St., juvenile male ran away.
8:15 p.m. – 1600 block E. 30th St., Daniel Stevens, 18, of Lorain, charged with criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
8:12 p.m. – 500 block W. 14th St., Jessie Taylor, 21, of Lorain, charged with resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
8:57 p.m. – 4800 block of Briarwood Ave., Dion Hicks, 42, of Lorain, charged with domestic violence.
9 p.m. – 5300 block Leavitt Road, Super Kmart, employees found message written on bathroom stall threatening a manager.
9:57 p.m. – 4800 block Eagles Nest Drive, house broken into, purse stolen.

4:15 a.m. – Sunset Drive, Desmond Ross, 30, of Lorain, charged with reckless operation, driving under suspension, possession of crack cocaine.
1:09 p.m. – 1000 block Streator Road, juvenile female left for school but didn’t show up.
