Elizabeth G. Fetsic (nee Reeping), 81, of Sheffield Lake, died Friday, August 31, 2007 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph, Lorain. She was born July 1, 1926, in Latrobe, PA, and has lived in Sheffield Lake, for over 45 years, coming from Michigan.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing cards. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake, and a member of its Ladies Guild.
She is the loving mother of one son, Joseph (Sharon) Fetsic of Vermilion; three daughters, Susan (Jerrold) Cady of Georgetown, TX, Cynthia (Paul) Chaffee of Macedonia, Sherri (Brent) Smith of Westerville; 14 grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Kristyne, Benjamin, Nathan, Jeffrey, Andrew, Aaron, Patrick, Alyssa, Samuel, Brianna, Angela, Zachary; brother, Regis C. Reeping of Wickliffe; sisters, Mary Margaret Danovich of Yeadon, P.A., and Rose Joan Gabrys, of Bradenville, PA; sister-in-law, Veronica Ihnut Pauline Kuhar, and Helen Hixson, all of PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John B. Fetsic in July 2007; sister, Agnes Carrico; brothers, Henry and Edward Reeping; parents, Henry and Augusta Reeping.
Friends will be received Sunday, September 2, 2007 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Road, Avon, where a Rosary will be recited at 8 P.M. and also Monday, September 3, 2007, from 9 A.M. until time of closing prayers at 10:30 A.M., followed by an 11 A.M. Mass at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake. Private interment will be Wednesday, September 5, 2007, in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
