8 a.m. – 500 block Ternes Ave., $12,000 worth of copper wiring stolen from lot.
9 a.m. – 800 block Taylor St., 12 windows broken in building.
10:30 a.m. – 200 block Warden Ave., vandals spray-painted graffiti on building.
11 a.m. – 600 block Lowell St., catalytic converter stolen off van in parking lot.
12:30 p.m. – Middle Avenue and Fourth Street, juvenile males fighting.
12:45 p.m. – 400 block Sixth St., Carmen Maldonado, 32, of Elyria, warrant arrest and charged with possession of marijuana, also charged with forgery and theft.
2:30 p.m. – Bond and Adams streets, church van that was suspected stolen was recovered.
3 p.m. – 700 block Baldwin Ave., man turned in shotgun shells to be destroyed.
3:59 p.m. – 600 block Foster Ave., two men said another man on a bike fired two gunshots at them.
7 p.m. – 600 block Wood St., woman complained that someone was posting inappropriate information about her on MySpace.com.
9:30 p.m. – 1100 block Riverside Drive, man said another man threatened him with a knife.

12:05 a.m. – 100 block Lake Ave., Kelly Forbush, 37, of Wellington, charged with possession of crack cocaine.
9:28 a.m. – 300 block Sixth St., Elyria High School, juvenile male, charged with possession of marijuana.
1 p.m. – 100 block Fox Hill Lane, car vandalized.
3:05 p.m. – West Avenue and Third Street, juvenile female, charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct persisting.
4:41 p.m. – Georgetown Avenue, Jeffrey Scarborough, 19, of Elyria, charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, running a stop sign.
5:30 p.m. – 500 block Fairmount Ave., George Krueck, 43, of Elyria, warrant arrest.
8:05 p.m. – 400 block Cambridge Ave., Robert Gibson, 44, of Elyria, warrant arrest.
10:42 p.m. – 800 block Woodland Ave., two camcorders stolen from home.
11:19 p.m. – 8700 block West Ridge Road, juvenile male, charged with possession of marijuana, curfew violation.
11:57 p.m. – 500 block S. Abbe Road, Elyria Flea Market, can of Mountain Dew stolen from  business.
Friday, Aug. 31
12:42 a.m. – 400 block Second St., NAPA, building broken into, nothing stolen.
2:30 a.m. – Oberlin Road, Craig Coffman, 42, of Elyria, warrant arrest.

4:06 p.m. – 9800 block Murray Ridge Road, inmate smashed a plastic screen covering a computer that was available to inmates.

11:55 p.m. – State Route 83 and 303, deputies investigated report of sexual assault.

4:21 a.m. – State Route 57, Michael Kish, 47, of Seven Hills, charged with DUI and improper display of plates.
3:43 p.m. – 4800 block Broadway, juvenile male stole two packs of Starburst candy.
Thursday, Aug. 30
2:46 a.m. – State Route 57, Ronald McClellan, 46, of Avon Lake, charged with open container in a car, expired plates, driving under suspension.
2:15 p.m. – 15000 block West Road, house broken into, various items stolen.
11:08 p.m. – State Route 10 and state Route 301, motorist said another motorist was harassing him.

12:03 a.m. – State Route 57, Tony McDonald, 41, of Lorain, charged with consuming alcohol in a car, fictitious plates, driving under suspension.
2:36 a.m. – State Route 57, deputies assisted Amherst police in stopping vehicle.

7:22 p.m. – 3300 block Oakdale Ave., woman suspected her sister-in-law was stealing mail.
8:30 p.m. – 300 block W. 34th St., man found a 13-inch television in his yard.
9:10 p.m. – 800 block Lexington Ave., two juvenile females, menacing.
9:25 p.m. – 800 block N. Central Drive, woman said she heard someone try to break into her home.
10:22 p.m. – 1700 block E. 29th St., man threatening another man.
