Lorain police, fire forces investigating car fire

LORAIN — Police and firefighters are investigating how a car caught fire on West 11th Street early Monday.
Firefighters responded to the fire about 2 a.m. and were able to put it out quickly. The car was severely damaged.
Upon further investigation, it was found that the engine had been removed. The car is believed to be stolen, Lorain Fire Lt. Bill Horvath said. Police were working on contacting the owner of the vehicle Monday.
