Marilyn Jameyson, 72, of Wellington, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Allen Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 7, 1935 in Rochester, the daughter of the late Olive and Woodford Stanfield.
Mrs. Jameyson graduated from Wellington High School in 1953.
She loved knitting, especially making baby afghans for her grandchildren.
Marilyn was a devout Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed watching their games. She also enjoyed watching minor league baseball.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Donald Jameyson; four children, Russell (Kathryn) Jameyson of Bethel Park, PA, Randall (Elaine) Jameyson of Wellington, Donalyn (Frank) Wilfong of Wellington, Richard (Jenni) Jameyson of Tallmadge; eight grandchildren; a brother, Robert Stanfield of Nova; and two sisters, Lois Taylor of Wellington, and Linda Marley of PA.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 P.M. Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. A graveside service will be at 11 A.M.
