The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Paul Bryon Gott, 80, of Titusville, died on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at home. He was born in Wellington.
His first wife was Judith Wright Gott who died in 1989.
Paul is survived by his wife, Helen; his children, Debbie Lust and her husband, Brian, Kathy Cody, Paula Moon and her husband, Jeffrey; stepchildren, Dennis Diller and his wife, Sue, Robin Sawyer and her husband, Chris, and Richard Diller; his 15 loving grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren will miss him greatly. He is also survived by brothers, Richard Gott and his wife, Lois, Hardol Gott and his wife, Carol; and sister, Naomi Searle and husband, Fred.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 1 P.M. at Spencer United Methodist Church in Spencer.
