5:43 p.m. – 400 block Ninth St., woman said she was bitten during altercation with another woman.
7:30 p.m. – 305 Broad St., Boomer’s Bar, James Mowery, 36, of Elyria, charged with assault.
8:40 p.m. – 10 block West Ave., Wesley Hance-Hill, 22, of Louisville, Ky., warrant arrest.
8:55 p.m. – 1200 block East River St., juvenile female ran away.
Wednesday, Sept. 5
5:51 a.m. – 100 block College Park Drive, purse and Nintendo stolen from apartment while residents were sleeping.
9:29 a.m. – 200 block Williams St., Blue Star Recycling, employee said that man turned in copper fittings that may have been stolen.
2:10 p.m. – 1500 block Lake Ave., Educational Alternatives School, 10-year-old boy assaulted his teachers.
3:15 p.m. – 2500 block Fackler Road, $5,900 worth of music equipment stolen from man’s basement.
4 p.m. – 400 block West Ave., Jerry Jones, 19, of Elyria, charged with domestic violence and drug abuse.
5:33 p.m. – Midway Mall Boulevard, JCPenney’s, Lisa Armbruster, 18, of Lorain, and Amy James, 19, of Sheffield Lake, charged with theft.
7:14 p.m. – Middle Avenue and 10th Street, DaShawn Martin, 18, of Oberlin, and a 16-year-old female charged with assault.
7:30 p.m. – 100 block Portia Court, woman was assaulted by man who she was with, but she declined to press charges for domestic violence.
10:30 p.m. – 500 block Bell Ave., Tom Slone Jr., 48, of Elyria, charged with domestic violence.

3 a.m. – 400 block Henry St., 1998 Honda Civic stolen.

12:15 p.m. – 9900 block Bryant Ave., glass patio door was shattered; homeowner heard yelling but no one was located.
3:35 p.m. – Elyria Avenue, Gary Stump, 35, of Lorain, charged with fictitious plates, no seat belt, improper display of plates.
4:57 p.m. – 100 block Yunker Court, Jason Haney, 34, of Elyria, charged with two counts domestic violence, two counts disruption of public service.

2:57 a.m. – Lorain Boulevard, couple was pulled over by deputy, but they exited the car and fled the scene.
11 a.m. – 500 block Mountain Lion Drive, vandals spray-painted “THANK GOD” on man’s vehicle.
12:30 p.m. – 30 block Sunset Drive, vandals spray-painted vehicle.
6:36 p.m. – 3400 block Brokaw Road, James Cusick Jr., 49, of Avon Lake, charged with disorderly conduct intoxicated, criminal trespass.

2:30 p.m. – 1700 block Lexington Ave., man fractured his hand when he punched another man.
3:21 p.m. – 2100 block Broadway, 1994 Jeep Cherokee stolen.

2:38 a.m. – 4600 block Oak Hills Blvd., woman suspected cleaning woman stole her necklace and coin collection.
7:35 a.m. – 1600 block Cooper-Foster Park Road, vandals spray-painted profanity on building.
8 a.m. – 600 block Lakeside Ave., woman said her boyfriend struck her, broke her phone and scratched her with a set of keys.
8 a.m. – 5700 block W. Erie Ave., house broken into, 138 OxyContin pills stolen.
8:14 a.m. – 3900 block Reid Ave., woman’s ID used to purchase $1,439 worth of furniture in New York.
10:14 a.m. – 2300 block E. 37th St., charcoal grill stolen from property.
10:30 a.m. – 400 block Florida Ave., woman told gas man that she’d sic her dog on him if he didn’t leave.
10:57 a.m. – 1917 North Ridge Road, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lorain County building, car nearly broken into.
1 p.m. – 600 block Blossom Drive, police and animal control officer had to bust off shed door to release dog that was locked inside by its owner; charges pending.
1 p.m. – 600 block Broadway, woman said she threw her 18-year-old son out of her apartment but he kept coming back and smoking outside.
2:35 p.m. – 1800 block E. 31st St., woman threw eggs at a man’s apartment door; police forwarded report to prosecutor for possible charges.
3:45 p.m. – East 30th Street, 12-year-old boy charged with assault.
5:12 p.m. – 100 block W. Erie Ave., 2002 Ford SUV stolen.
5:14 p.m. – 1400 block E. 28th St., man took part off car at scrap yard and left without paying.
6:30 p.m. – 900 block Seventh Court, woman complained that man assaulted her because she owed him $2,600 in drug money; police forwarded report to prosecutor.
8:19 p.m. – 2200 block Lorain Drive, woman punched another woman in the face; police forwarded report to prosecutor for possible charges.
9:08 p.m. – East 30th Street, Lorain residents Brent Fazekas, 18, Dartagnan Knowles, 19, and two juvenile males charged with aggravated riot and assault in attack on 18-year-old man.

3:14 a.m. – 2400 block Broadway, people fighting at gas station; Talona Thomas, 33, of Lorain, arrested on warrant.
