The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Mark T. Nageotte, 45, passed away suddenly, Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007.
He was the loving husband to Diane M. (nee Dixon); devoted father to Katie, Emily and Andy; dear son of Mark C. and Mary Jane (nee McCourt); loving brother to Sheila Skotko (Ed), Kathleen, Dan (Amy), Bill (Noreen) and Eileen Romansky (Clete); son-in-law to Douglas and Dorothy Dixon; brother-in-law to David Dixon (Carol) and Denise Boyd (Bob); uncle and great-uncle to many. “Cotton” was a friend to many.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Falls Church (Columbia and Bagley Rds., Olmsted Falls), Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. Everyone please meet at church. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
