The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Mary J. Bramhall (nee- Kaltner), 64, of Avon, died unexpectedly Friday, September 14, 2007 at her home. She was born December 6, 1942 in Magherafelt, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Mary was a lifelong resident of Avon, attended Holy Trinity Grade School and graduated from Avon High School in 1960.
Mary was employed at Bramhall Engineering and Surveying Company from 1998 to the present. She was previously employed by Lake Erie Electric from 1981 to 1998. She enjoyed cooking and flower gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Richard J. Bramhall; daughters, Sherry Angeloni (Douglas) of Canton, Christine Vargovich of Amherst; son, Michael Bramhall (Lisa) of Avon; and seven grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 9 P.M. at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon where closing prayers will be Wednesday at 10:30 A.M., followed by a 11 A.M. graveside service at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Avon, with Fr.
Lawrence Martello officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The American Heart Assoc. or A Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
