Christopher Crobaugh, 61, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at his home following a sudden illness.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.

    When I received the news of Chick’s passing yesterday, you could have knocked ne over with a feather. My bandmates (CONESTOGA) and I were just talking with him at the Shamrock Nite Club in Barberton shortly after the conclusion of our performance that night. I recall sitting in one night for Chick’s regular bass player at the Elyria Moose one night several years ago. It was a rare treat to share the stage with a man of his talent and character. Chick was certainly the finest steel player in Northeast Ohio - and one of the finest men I have ever met. The Northeast Ohio music scene has lost one of its best. I’ll never forget you, buddy….Rest in peace.

  2. When I heard about Chris/Chicks death I was floored.I do believe we have a full band up there now. My parents,Dave&Flossie Davis,Pat Krage,Roger Martin,and lots of others too many to name.Susie,his wife,will have lots of memoriesI have pictures of “Chick” in the 70’s and Chris in the 90s.Susie will always be known as the rock for Chris.We will be here for you Susie,know that mom and dad are keeping him company for now
