Damyrious M. “Dee” Fazey, 92, of Lexington, Ky., widow of Clarence Fazey, died September 18, 2007 at Sayre Christian Village Nursing Home, Lexington.

Born in Elyria, she was the daughter of the late William and Wilhelmina (nee Meinke) and a life-long resident until moving to Kentucky. She was an active member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, South Amherst.

She is survived by a son, Mark of Lexington; granddaughter, Laura (Charles) Stewart of Cincinnati; grandson, Stephen Fazey of Austin Texas; and sister, Annetta Huiett of Elyria.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Howard; and sister, Dorothy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2007, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Leonard St., South Amherst, with a brief visitation prior to services. 

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst.

The family would like to thank the staff of Beehive Homes of Frankfort, Ky, Sayre Christian Village and Hospice of the Bluegrass for their kind and caring support. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, C/O Development Office, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504. Arrangements were handled by Dicken Funeral Home.
