William "Pete" Grady Hefflin, Jr., went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 12, 2007, following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 12, 1964 in Johnson City, Tenn.
He will always be remembered with a smile, and forever in our hearts. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting and collecting guns.
Pete brought constant smiles to everyone he knew. He would give you the shirt off his back and do without just to help.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; devoted daughters, Crystal and Madeline Hefflin; most caring mother, Ellen Dennis; sisters, Lori Smith, Deeanna Hefflin and Sandra Dennis; brother-in-law, Ronnie Lovejoy; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Bowen and Paula Rossego; mother and father-in-law, Roger and Sheila Lovejoy. He was like a father to nephews, Joshua and Charles Smith, and Adam Hefflin; uncle to Sahara Raines, Beth Loyer, Tom and Rusty Bowen, Joey and Logan Lovejoy, and Taylor and Kyle Rossego.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Grady Hefflin.
A memorial service will be Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Medina Union Mission, 6208 Norwalk Road, Medina. The Rev. John Kimble, of LaGrange Independent Freewill Baptist Church, will officiate.
