The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Michelle Ann Brown, 45, of Lorain, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 23, 2007 at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Miss Brown was born December 25, 1961 in Lorain, where she had been a lifelong resident.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and working in the yard. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and being with family and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Lakeisha Brown and Charlisa Bryant; and sons, Jesse Brown and Jeremy Brown, all of Lorain; and long time companion, Charles T. Bryant; mother, Sara Watson of Lorain; sisters, Yvonne Brown, Donna Linder, Deborah Donald, Mary Jones, and Diane Guice, all of Lorain, Virginia Green of Columbus, Evonne Bennet of Akron, Cierra Bradford and Dominique Bradford, both of Flint, MI; brothers, Raymond Watson, Tony Taylor and Edward Wright, all of Lorain, Cleveland Watkins, Tom Bennett and Anthony Bennett, all of Canton, Ivan Guice of Elyria, Kyle Adams of Phoenix, AZ, Jason Bradford, Randy Bennett and Ronald Bennett, all of Flint, MI; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Miss Brown was preceded in death by her father, Cleveland Vaughn Bennett; and her grandparents.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 1, 2007 from 11 A.M. until time of Service at Noon at Worship Cathedral, 321 Colorado Ave., Lorain. Apostle Terrance N. Bivins, pastor, will officiate. Brown Robinson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
