The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Kenneth H. Schroeder, 60, of North Ridgeville, passed away September 26, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was a supervisor at Ford Motor Company.
He was the son of the late Harry and Margaret (nee Vida) Schroeder; loving husband of Kathy (nee O’Neill); devoted father of Kenneth J., Crystal Goad (Tom), Joe Turos (Julie) and Lisa Turos; dear grandfather of Bailey and Natalie Phillips, Sarah Lowrey and Julian Turos; beloved brother of Donna Ruland (Joe); cherished nephew of Doris Yancich and Delores Schroeder; treasured uncle of Steve Philips (Stephanie) and T. J. Philips (Romina); many cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, William Alex.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 6 P.M. in the Chapel of Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., N. Olmsted.
