Cecelia M. Bober (nee Rakita), 88, formerly of North Ridgeville, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007, in The Pines of Sarasota, Sarasota, FL. She was born September 30, 1918 in Lorain and grew up in Amherst. She had resided in N. Ridgeville for over 60 years until moving to Sarasota this past March to be close to her daughter.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, flower gardening and working on their farm.
Surviving are sons, Frank (Cheryle) Bober of Ravenna, John (Victoria) Bober of Wakeman, James (Lynda) Bober of Wichita Falls, TX; daughters, Lucille (Richard) Spicer of Sarasota, FL, Sandra (Walter) Wolfkill of St. Paris; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 2006; parents, John and Mary Rakita; sisters, Helen Sivinski, Monia Shairba and Anna Truszak; brothers, Walter and Stanley Truszak.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridege Rd, N. Ridgeville, with the Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor, as celebrant.
Interment will be in the St. Peter’s Cemetery, N. Ridgeville.
