Frances A. Eager, 97, of Columbus, formerly a longtime resident of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Friendship Village of Columbus. She was born September 24, 1910 in Oberlin, the daughter of the late Emerson and Lena Sherrill.

Frances is survived by sons, Dale and (wife Pat) of Westerville, David and (wife Caroline) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Patterson, Jill (Eric) Cherry, Boyd, Brad, Chase and Paul Eager; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Paul S. Eager in 1984.

Private Funeral Service and Burial will be at Blendon Central Cemetery.

Frances had requested in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Odyssey Health Care, Inc., 540 Officenter Place, Gahanna, OH 43230 or the Friendship Village of Columbus Scholarship Fund, 5800 Forest Hills Blvd., Columbus, OH 43231. Arrangements are being handled by Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville.
