The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present. Certificates of births and deaths occurring in all of Lorain County, except for the city of Lorain, are available at the health district.

Alice Pearl Graham (nee Stump), 87, of Elyria, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria. She was born August 28, 1920 in Grantsville, West Virginia.
She was a former employee of Baldwin Wallace College in Berea.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila D. Graham of Elyria; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Abbey.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Lee L. Graham in 2002; a son, Abe J. Graham in 2002; and a brother, Roy Stump.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 10 A.M. until the time of the 11 A.M. Funeral Service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Rev. Beth McKee, Chaplain of Wesleyan Village will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
