Kenneth J. Bulfinch, 81, of Avon Lake, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Avon Oaks Nursing Center. He was born March 3, 1926 in Ashtabula, and had been a resident of Avon Lake for several years. Mr. Bulfinch was a retired signal-maintainer for Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a model ship builder and enjoyed ballroom dancing. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II.
Survivors include his wife Martha (nee Paradis); sons, Kenneth Jr. of Elyria and Matthew (Cindy) of Marion; stepchildren, Stan, Sandy, David, James, Robert and Kathy; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles; first wife, Theresa; and second wife, Betty.
Friends will be received Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 9:30 A.M. until a 10 A.M. Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Avon Lake (meet at church). Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon is in charge of arrangements. Interment is at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery, Avon.
