Laura L. Campbell-Vaughn (nee Brainerd), 80, of Columbia Station, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at her home following a brief illness. She was born June 13, 1927 in Cadillac, MI, and was a Columbia Station resident since 1974.
She enjoyed bird watching, growing flowers, quilt making, and working puzzles.
Survivors include her daughters, Esther Currier of Elyria, and Roxsann Mullar of Columbia Station; sons, Lester Campbell and Bruce Campbell, both of Elyria, Dennis Campbell of Eaton Twp., and Gary Campbell of Columbia Station; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one sister; two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold on April 27, 2007; a daughter, Linda Smith; son, Willard Campbell; three sisters; and one brother.
Friends may call Tuesday (today) 5 to 8 P.M. at the Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, Chestnut Ridge Rd. at State Rt. 57, Elyria. Services will be Wednesday at 10 A.M. in the funeral home. The Rev. Chuch Beherens, Chaplain of Hospice of the Western Reserve will officiate. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
